Iran powerful 2-minute film makes world of difference

Award-winning Iranian short film ‘Thursday Appointment’ will amaze you with what it conveyed in about 120 seconds.

Mohammad Reza Kheradmandan's new offering has recently gained an award at the Luxor African Film Festival, a non-profit organization that encourages and celebrates film-making from Africa.

The powerful short movie depicts an older married couple reciting the Poem of Hafez to one another in a car when they stop at a red light and notice a couple having a loud family row. The older couple reminds us of how love in marriage can help us to view the world differently.

Most international audiences were impressed by the content a media report said, though they were not able to understand their exact words and the gestures mostly helped a lot.
